Hello my friends. You've most likely have heard it by now, but we have lost one of, if not, the greatest Manga creator and Character Designer of all time as DragonBall Creator, artist and author Akira Toriyama has passed away. He was 68. DragonBall and DragonBall Z was one of the corner stones of my anime fandom. I remember waking up at 5:30am on Saturday mornings when its original dub aired in the mid 90's. I would sneak down stairs to try and see Bulma in the bunny girl outfit as well as seeing the rest of the episodes as well. It was the first time where I realized that you couldn't miss an episode. Because if you missed one or two, you'd be lost. And while anime did it as a whole, it was the popularity of DBZ that showed that on gowing seasonal story arcs can work very well. Toriyama also created the hilarious Dr. Slump series as well helped design so many characters for the Dragon Quest J-RPG's as well as the characters for one of the best J-RPG's Chrono Trigger. I know
